Friends of Strong Welcomes Nearly 300 Area High School Students to the URMC Family

These are just a few career interests among nearly 300 Rochester area youth volunteering throughout Strong Memorial Hospital as part of this year’s Friends of Strong summer high school volunteer program.

Gift Enhances Advanced Life Support Training for Our Nursing Professional Development Center

Friends of Strong recently funded the purchase of new training equipment for the UR Medicine Center for Nursing Professional Development's American Heart Association Training Center, including a QCRP AED w/Airway, ShockLink and SimPad simulator, and child-sized manikins compatable with the SimPad simulator—further helping refine the world-class care our nurses provide.
