• Tuesday, April 8th at 12 pm - SMD Large Aud (Room 2-6424) - "What NCI Designation Means for Shared Resources" presented by John Ashton, PhD, MBA and Tracie McGinnity, PhD, of the Shared Resources Management (SRM), will spotlight how NCI designation impacts the Shared Resources.  Register Here!
• GRC Spatial Workshop Part I - Tuesday, April 29th from 10 am - 2 pm in Whipple Auditorium (SMD 2-6424). 
  • As previously mentioned in several departmental seminars, Part I will involve both wet-lab and bioinformatics GRC staff and focus on the following topics:
    1. Overall technology review for Visium, Xenium, and GeoMx with ideal use cases (Pros, cons, limitations, strengths, etc.)
    2. Experimental/Sample Preparation Considerations for each platform
    3. Introduction to standard analysis in freely available software (i.e. Loupe Browser, DSP Analysis Suite, and Xenium Explorer)
    4. Self-Exploration using provided datasets - NOTE: no coding required
    5. Q&A, Discussion, and Introduction to Part II (Coming in June 2025) - further analysis outside of available software (i.e. using Seurat) - NOTE: coding experience will be required for Part II.

This seminar series aims to increase awareness of Wilmot's Shared Resources, the services they provide, how to access them, and how they can support your research.  This is a recurring seminar held on the second Tuesday of every month in the K-307 Auditorium (Room 3-6408) from 12-1 pm.
