  • Man flexing his bicep

Today, I need to have my blood pressure taken. This is to make sure I am strong and healthy.

  • Blood pressure cuff on a patient's arm

The doctor will put the blood pressure cuff on my arm. The cuff will give my arm a hug! This will not hurt me.

  • Three people singing

I will sit still. I can close my eyes and count, or I can sing my favorite song!

  • Doctor standing

Soon, the blood pressure cuff will stop squeezing. The doctor will take it off my arm.

I can even practice this at home. That will help me get ready!

  • Person smiling

I am all done. Everyone at the doctor's office will be proud to see how brave I am!
