Kidney disease can take many forms and have far reaching effects, such as hypertension (high blood pressure). Kidney disease can also be acute (a temporary condition that goes away when the underlying cause is treated) or chronic (an on-going congenital or acquired condition).
Some of the more common conditions treated at Golisano Children's Hospital include:
