The Department of Pediatrics will take the following steps to ensure welcoming physical and digital spaces that reflects the diversity of our GCH community and the patients and families we serve.

Initiatives

• Engaging child/youth derived art and local community artists to enhance our physical spaces
• Ongoing audit of Golisano Children's Hospital digital presence
• Website and marketing materials development to mindfully include diverse and inclusive images
• Ongoing environmental assessments in primary recruitment spaces to ensure inclusive and equitable representation for faculty, staff, and trainee candidates
