The Division of Pediatric Pulmonology diagnoses, treats, and manages a wide range of conditions affecting the respiratory tract, including common conditions, such as asthma, as well as more rare conditions, such as interstitial lung disease.
The most common conditions we treat include:
- Apnea
- Asthma
- Reactive airway disease (RAD)
- Bronchitis
- Bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) and chronic lung disease of infancy
- Congenital lung abnormalities
- Chronic respiratory failure/insufficiency
- Cystic fibrosis
- Neuromuscular respiratory diseases and muscle weakness
- Pneumonia
- Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) infection
- Technology-dependent children (Includes children requiring a tracheostomy, BiPAP or home ventilator)
- Wheezing
