Our Team

Our pediatric social workers are NYS licensed, master’s prepared social workers (LMSW). They have the knowledge and skill to help children and families by providing support around new medical conditions or ongoing health issues, care coordination, preadmission and discharge planning, and connections to important resources. They work closely with the other members of the child’s health care team as well as involved community services and schools to support the health and wellbeing of our pediatric patients.

Inpatient Social Work Team

Within Golisano Children's Hospital, there is a social worker assigned to each inpatient unit.

Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) GCH 3 and SMH 3- 3400
Cardiac and Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU, PCICU) GCH 6N and 6S
General Pediatric units 7N, 7S, 8N, and 8S
