Our Goals

The overarching goals of this research are to improve health care access, experiences, and outcomes for vulnerable children and families.

1. To understand barriers to care and the effects of disparities associated with factors such as poverty, race/ethnicity, and health status.
2. To develop and evaluate new health care strategies for individuals, communities and health systems.
3. To ultimately improve health-related experiences, reduce costs, and optimize outcomes for all children, youth and families – in Rochester and nationwide.
