"Minority INtrospective Designated Space (MINDS)"
This program was developed as a URiM trainee forum in the wake of the brutal murder of George Floyd on May 25, 2020. It was created to provide a psychologically safe space for trainees of color, facilitated by a black psychotherapist. The purpose of this space and these sessions has been to promote resilience and wellness among trainees of color through culturally competent trauma-informed practices. These sessions are open to members of AMRF and are held on the Third Thursday of every month. Location and further event details are shared with our membership.
