The annual event, sponsored by the Friends of Strong Memorial Hospital and the hospital’s transplant units, benefits transplant patients who are awaiting or recovering from organ transplant surgery. Donations and other proceeds help them pay for expenses associated with lifelong care, such as life-saving medications and travel expenses.
