Structure/Requirements
- Time/location commitment:
- Summer six-week internship, June
- 12 hours/week lab time
- Consistent in-person attendance
- Eligibility:
- Open to rising juniors and seniors
- Enrolled full-time student
- New York state resident
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Application requirements:
- On-time submission
- Clear interest in scientific research or biomedical sciences
- Written statement about interest in NEUROEAST program
Expectations
- Complete a research project
- Author/present research poster at Summer Scholars poster session
- Be respectful of host lab PI, trainees, mentor, and staff
- Arrive on time for all scheduled days/hours.
- Finish assigned learning/projects fully and on time
- Be curious. Ask questions.
- Speak up when you need help.
- Respect and adhere to contact guidelines
