Asbury First United Methodist Church and the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry have been providing free access to urgent care, work physicals, and health maintenance to the Rochester community for 10 years. The clinic is run by volunteers (church members, nurses, medical students, pharmacy students, and physicians) and is dedicated to providing compassionate, professional, and quality care to uninsured and underinsured patients.
Clinic Nights & Scheduling
Clinic nights are every Thursday 6 - 8 p.m. (sign-up starts at 5:30 p.m.).
Appointments are by appointment and first-come, first-served basis.
Services
- Physical exams
- PPD testing for Tuberculosis
- Health education and preventative medicine
- Social work and Nutritionist counseling available every night, either on-site or by referral
- Flu shot
- Pregnancy tests, condoms, contraceptive information
- Narcan/ naloxone life saving medication for opioid overdose
We do not provide the following services:
- We see pediatric patients (children under 18 years old) on a case by case basis
- We do not give prescriptions for opioids (ex: Vicodin) or benzodiazepines (ex: Xanax)
- We do not offer vaccinations other than the Flu Shot
- We are not able to assess pregnancy tests or perform urine analysis tests
