Family Medicine Celebrates Match Day

On Match Day fourth year medical students across the country learned where they will be spending the next four years of their residencies. This year 10 residents from across the country have been matched with Highland Family Medicine and two with Brown Square Health Center.

Maternal Child Fellowship Serving Patients in Rural Settings

In 2021, the University of Rochester Department of Family Medicine Maternal Child Fellowship was awarded a 5 year, $2.7 million HRSA grant to focus on rural maternity care.

Study Determines Impact of Controlled Substance Safety Committee

The goal of the study of the Controlled Substance Safety Committee (CSSC) is to describe and understand the implementation of the multidisciplinary committee at Highland Family Medicine and determine its impact on clinical decision-making and patient outcomes.
