Tree Trimming Near Bellevue Dr.

Trees at the end of Bellevue Dr. located on Highland Hospital property will be trimmed during the day Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

These trees need to be trimmed to make room for a crane which will be used to replace the Air Handling unit on top of the Emergency Department on Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Air Handler Weekend Work

On Saturday 6/17 and Sunday 6/18, construction crews will be working during the day to replace the Air Handler on the roof of the Emergency Department, on the side of the building closest to Bellevue Dr. This work is being done on the weekend when there are the least amount of surgeries taking place because this Air Handler serves some of the Operating Rooms.

The work will take place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. both days. Noise from these activities will include saws cutting metal and screw guns. We apologize in advance for the inconvenience.

Replacing an air handling unit on the roof of the Emergency Department

Starting on May 30 through mid-July, Highland Hospital will be replacing an air handling unit on the roof of the Emergency Department on the hospital’s south side. The existing unit is more than 40 years old and needs to be replaced. This will involve the use of a crane, trucks and some metal-cutting noise as the old unit will need to be dismantled in pieces in order to be removed.
