Goals of the Education Pathway

  • Develop a comprehensive education skill-set needed to become a Master Educator
    • Describe and apply the educational methodologies and evaluation tools used to train future generations of health care providers related to developmental disabilities
    • Apply the tools necessary for evaluating and tracking trainee progress and assessing training efficacy
    • Develop and refine grant-writing skills through experience and mentorship
  • Contribute to scholarship through conference presentations, posters, and manuscripts
  • Facilitate a smooth transition and offer a competitive advantage when applying for academic faculty positions
  • Develop a scholarly activity in the domain of education research suitable for publication in a peer-reviewed journal
