Goals of the Research Pathway
- Develop comprehensive research skillset needed to become a Principal Investigator
- Describe and apply the research methodologies and study designs used to conduct high quality research related to developmental disabilities.
- Apply the statistical tools necessary for analysis of research data.
- Develop and refine grant-writing skills through experience and mentorship
- Contribute to scholarship through conference presentations, posters, and manuscripts
- Facilitate a smooth transition and offer a competitive advantage when applying for academic faculty positions
