Removing the Ramp Slab

Crews continue saw cutting and removing the remaining portion of the ramp slab and foundations. This will continue for two more weeks.

Micropile installation will resume at the end of April and will continue for approximately three weeks. Deep foundation, pile cap and grade beam installation will start following the completion of the micropile installation.

Typical levels of construction noise and vibrations are expected with all of these activities. For the micropile and deep foundation work, any possible vibrations will be monitored by a third party testing agency.

Fuel Tank Removal Finished

The pre-existing fuel tank has been removed and the crew is now backfilling and grading off that area.

Micropile installation will resume at the end of April and will continue for approximately three weeks. Deep foundation, pile cap and grade beam installation will start following the completion of the micropile installation.

Fuel Tank Removal

Removal of the existing fuel tank will start on April 6 and demolition of selective portions of the South building continues.

Micropile installation will resume at the end of April and will continue for approximately three weeks. Deep foundation, pile cap and grade beam installation will start following the completion of the micropile installation.

Demolition and Fuel Pump Room

Demolition of portions of the South Building is ongoing and commissioning of fuel pumping equipment should be completed by the end of March.

Existing fuel tank removal and excavation for new tower foundations will start after the new fuel supply system is fully operational. This is anticipated to begin the last week of March/early April. Micropile installation is also expected to resume in mid-April.

Typical level of construction noise and vibrations are expected. Vibrations will be monitored by a third party testing agency during micropile installation.

Fuel Pump Commissioning

Commissioning of the new fuel pumping equipment is occurring over the next several days and demolition of portions of the South Building continues.

Existing fuel tank removal and excavation for new tower foundations will start after the new fuel supply system installation is complete. This is anticipated to start the last week of March.

All of these activities are expected to create typical levels of construction and truck noise.
