Saturday Work 7/23
Crews will be on site Saturday 7/23 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. installing mechanicals on the upper floors of the new addition and conducting miscellaneous work from the swing scaffolding on the outside of the building.
During the week, crews will be using the tower crane and buck hoist for various activities on site. Interior and exterior framing will be happening on the 5th, 6th, 7th, and mechanical floors and crews will be installing drywall top fill on the 5th, 6th, and 7th floors for mechanicals. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough ins continue to be installed in multiple locations within the building.
Typical levels of construction noise and vibrations are expected with all of these activities. For the deep foundation work, any possible vibrations will be monitored by a third party testing agency.
On Wednesday, 7/27, contractors will be installing a small temporary trailer near the Emergency Department entrance on campus. It will be placed on the strip of land between the current trailer in the E.D. ambulance parking bay and the front loop. It will be a temporary office for Highland Security while their office space inside the building is under construction. The trailer will be in place for two-to-three months. Crews will be onsite to direct traffic as it’s installed.
Saturday Work 7/16
Crews will be on site Saturday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. working on fire proofing and installing mechanicals inside the building. They will also be working on miscellaneous exterior work from the scaffolding outside the building.
During the week, the tower crane and buck hoist will be used for activities on site. Crews will be continuing to fire proof inside the structure and installing the interior and exterior framing throughout the building. Drywall top fill will be installed on the 5th, 6th, and 7th floors and mechanical rough ins are being put in throughout the building.
Typical levels of construction noise and vibrations are expected with all of these activities. For the deep foundation work, any possible vibrations will be monitored by a third party testing agency.
Contractors will also be on site Tuesday 7/19, Wednesday 7/20, and Thursday 7/21 to replace a manhole cover in the hospital’s driveway between the North Lot and the hospital building near the North entrance. This work will be done between the hours of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and may include jackhammering sounds. Traffic at this entrance should not be impacted by this work.
Saturday Work 7/9
Crews will be on site Saturday 7/9 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. working on fire proofing structural members within the building and installing water-resistive barriers on the east side outside the building.
During the week, crews will be using the tower crane and buck hoist for activities on site. Interior and exterior framing will be happening on the 5th, 6th, 7th and mechanical penthouse floors. Workers will be using boom lifts to install the framing, sheathing, and water-resistive barriers. They will also be installing drywall top fill on the 5th, 6th, and 7th floors as well as mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough ins throughout the building.

Saturday Work 7/2/22
There will be no work construction work on Sunday 7/3 or Monday 7/4.
Crews will be on site Saturday 7/2 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Work activities will include fire proofing structural members along with installing plumbing inside the building. Crews will also be working on the exterior from the swing stage scaffolding.
During the week, crews will be using the tower crane and buck hoist for activities on site. They will be working on fire proofing structural members, interior/exterior framing, and installing drywall top fill for mechanicals. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installation will be taking place in multiple locations within the building.
Typical levels of construction noise and vibrations are expected with all of these activities. For the deep foundation work, any possible vibrations will be monitored by a third party testing agency.
Saturday and Sunday Work 6/25 and 6/26
Crews will be on site this Saturday 6/25 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. fire proofing structural members and installing plumbing inside the new tower. They will also be installing exterior framing and sheathing. Crews might also be on site this Sunday 6/26 at some point between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. to conduct pressure testing on pipes within the new tower.
During the week, activities will include using the buck hoist and tower crane for fire proofing and interior/exterior framing. Drywall top fill will be taking place on the 5th, 6th , and 7th floors and mechanical/plumbing rough ins will continue to be installed throughout the building. Brick installation will also be starting on the fuel oil building on the east corner of the building.
