Saturday Work 3/19

Crews will be on site Saturday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. fireproofing the 5^th floor of the new tower and installing framing and layout.

During the week, the tower crane will be in operation with roofing and other activities on site. Layout will be going in on the 6^th and 7^th floor including installation of the top track. Fire Proofing structural members will be happening on the 4^th, 5^th  and 6^th floors. Interior and exterior framing will also be happening on the 1^st, 2^nd and 5^th floors. Stairs are being installed between the 3^rd and 4^th floors and detailing and swing stage scaffolding will be installed on the east side, working its way around to the north side. A Buck Hoist (temporary exterior elevator) will be installed on the South side exterior of the new tower.

Typical levels of construction noise and vibrations are expected with all of these activities. For the deep foundation work, any possible vibrations will be monitored by a third party testing agency.

No Work This Weekend Saturday 3/12 or Sunday 3/13

There will be no work on site this weekend.

During the week, the tower crane will be operating with roofing and other activities on site. Stair risers are being filled with concrete for easier access and are tentatively scheduled for Friday, March 11^th and Tuesday, March 15^th starting at 7 a.m. Concrete finishing has the potential to run late into the night, but will be finished before the City of Rochester noise ordinance of 10 p.m. An temporary extra deck called a Preston deck will be installed on the side of the new tower this week using the tower crane. Layout is being installed on the 5^th, 6^th and 7^th floor with top track. Interior and exterior framing is being installed on the 1^st and 2^nd floors. Swing stage scaffolding will start to be installed next week on the east side, working their way around to the north side.

No Work This Weekend

There will be no outdoor work on site this weekend Saturday 3/5 or Sunday 3/6.

During the week, crews will be using the crane to install roofing. The 8th floor concrete slab installation is tentatively scheduled for Friday, March 4 starting at 7 a.m. Stair L risers are being filled with concrete for easier access is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, March 10 starting at 7 a.m.  All concrete finishing has the potential to run late into the night but will be finished before the City of Rochester noise ordinance begins at 10 p.m. Layout will begin on the 5^th, 6^th and 7^th floors and top track. Fire Proofing will take place on the 4^th, 5^th  and 6^th floors before framing is installed. Interior and exterior framing will begin on the 1^st and 2^nd floors.

Work on Saturday 2/26/22

Crews will be on site Saturday 2/26 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. installing fire proofing in the new tower.

The 7th floor concrete slab installation is tentatively scheduled for Monday, February 28th starting at 7 a.m. Stair risers are being filled with concrete for easier access is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, March 2nd starting at 7 a.m. The 8th floor concrete slab installation is tentatively scheduled for Friday, March 4th starting at 7 a.m. All concrete finishing has the potential to run late into the night, but will not go past the City of Rochester noise ordinance of 10 p.m.

No Work Saturday 2/19

There is no work scheduled this weekend.

During the week, the tower crane will be in operation installing roofing. The 7th floor concrete slab installation is tentatively scheduled for Friday, February 25th starting at 7 a.m. Concrete finishing has the potential to run late into the night, but will not run past the City of Rochester noise ordinance of 10 p.m. Crews will also be preparing for concrete slab pours with shear studs, rebar, fire stopping sleeves, embedments, and rebar. The stair risers are being filled with concrete for easier access from floor to floor. New tower 7^th and 8^th floor temporary roofing / vapor barrier is also being installed (weather dependent activity). Interior and exterior framing has started on the 1^st and 2^nd floors.
